Philippines is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. Cannabis is illegal under the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165), and cultivation is subject to recurring state eradication campaigns.
Reported cultivation concentrates in the highlands of northern Luzon. Benguet and Kalinga, in the Cordillera Administrative Region, account for most enforcement reporting, with the Ilocos Region emerging as a second centre during 2026.
