Customs and PDEA arrest an American with 17.464 kg of kush in two bags at NAIA Terminal 3 after a flight from Bangkok

PTV News, relaying a Philippine News Agency report on a Bureau of Customs release, reported that an American passenger who arrived from Bangkok on 29 October was arrested at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 after X-ray screening and a K-9 inspection of two checked bags. Officers found 15 vacuum-sealed packages of suspected kush hidden in food packaging, 5,122 grams in the first bag and 12,342 grams in the second. The operation was carried out with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group.
