Police uproot and burn 1,150 cannabis plants on two plantations in Kibungan and 1,000 seedlings in Kapangan, Benguet

Inquirer.net reported, citing a statement of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera, that joint police and PDEA operations on Friday 30 October found three marijuana plantations: 1,000 seedlings in Barangay Sagubo, Kapangan, and 1,150 fully grown plants on two plantations in Barangay Poblacion, Kibungan. The statement says all the plants and seedlings were uprooted and burned at the sites after documentation. It reports no arrests and says follow-up operations continue in nearby areas.
