Baguio Gold 2022 is a seed accession of the cannabis line that The Landrace Team (TLT) offers under the name Baguio Gold and lists under the title Baguio Gold (Philippines), naming the Philippines.[1]

Geography

TLT puts the line at a latitude of 16° N and says that it has been cultivated from 200 to 1,800 m above sea level.[1]

Collection Details

The specification on TLT's listing reads: "Genetics: Baguio Gold Latitude: 16°N Elevation: from 200 to 1700 m.a.s.l."[1] TLT says that it has observed four phenotypes, one of them light purple, and calls the line among the best of its Philippine sativas.[1]

Cultivation Details

TLT puts the vegetative stage at 12 to 18 weeks and flowering at 11 to 18 weeks, and calls the yield medium to high.[1]

Botanical Characteristics

TLT describes vigorous plants of up to 2.5 m, mostly conical, with internodes that are wide on the first branches and shorten as the plant grows, and medium-sized, bright green leaves of five, seven and seldom nine thin, serrated leaflets. It describes medium-compact, resinous and sticky flowers, and one phenotype that turns purple and red late in flowering.[1]

Aroma

TLT describes aromas of lemon, pine, lime, earth and sweet pineapple, and a taste of sweet solvents and pine, in some plants woody with a chocolate aftertaste.[1]

Effects

TLT calls the effect a cerebral high that is alert, meditative, sociable, uplifting and long-lasting.[1]
