CRT-1115 Kalinga Philippines 2016 is a sequenced tissue sample of Cannabis sativa labelled as from the Philippines. The genotyping company Phylos Bioscience, of Portland, Oregon, in the United States, deposited its sequence data with the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), which published the sample's BioSample entry on 24 October 2016.[1][2] The accession is the deposited sample entry and its sequence data.
Geography
The BioSample's geographic location field reads "Philippines" and its cultivar field Kalinga_Philippines.[1]
Collection Details
Sequence data
The sample was sequenced by targeted amplicon sequencing of genomic DNA on an Illumina NextSeq 500. Its reads are stored in the Sequence Read Archive as run SRR4448747 of experiment SRX2267239.[2] The sample is one of 845 in BioProject PRJNA347566, which Phylos Bioscience registered on 10 October 2016.[3][4] The project's description states: "We have characterized the genetic variation in modern Cannabis as well as putative landraces in an effort to develop markers and tools for breeders."[3]
