Landrace.Wiki:Support

This page explains what it costs to run Landrace.Wiki and how you can support it.

Landrace.Wiki is an independent project. It is a collaborative wiki: its pages are written and checked by the people who contribute to it.

What funding pays for

Running the wiki costs money in several places:

Hosting. The servers, backups and security that keep the site online.
Tools. Storage drives, SAAS subscriptions etc.
Specialist help. Part-time paid work from people with skills the wiki needs, for example security consultants.
A legal fund. The wiki documents a plant that is restricted in many countries, and it needs a reserve for legal advice.

Writing, checking and sourcing pages is support too. See Landrace.Wiki:Contributing for where to start.

Reading and editing Landrace.Wiki are free and will stay free. No sponsor or funder has a say in what the wiki publishes.
