Polda Sumut seizes 151 kg of cannabis on the Siantar to Parapat road

Polda Sumut officers stopped a car on the Siantar to Parapat road on 26 April 2026 and seized about 151 kg of cannabis. Swara Hati Rakyat reported that the driver, identified as MA, said the load came from Mandailing Natal and that he had carried two earlier consignments. The seizure was announced together with two methamphetamine interdictions of the same week, 22 kg at Medan Sunggal and 50 kg at Rokan Hilir in Riau. Narcotics director Kombes Pol Andy Arisandi presented the case.
