Malana is a landrace cannabis accession from Malana village, Himachal Pradesh, India, named as one of several lines an Overgrow forum member says were "given to me personally by cocogenes".[1] It does not appear in Coco Genes' own archived catalogue.
Collection
On 30 April 2024 the Overgrow member vinu58ster wrote: "I have some Indian landrace cultivars given to me personally by cocogenes, including: Kerala Selection 2020 Malana Selection 2020 Shillong Selection 2020 Western Karnataka (Kolar) Selection."[1] Beyond the name "Malana Selection 2020" and the fact of the gift from Coco Genes, the post gives no further detail: no village description, no material description, no date of collection.
