BNNP Aceh and a joint team find about 18 hectares of cannabis at Teupin Reusep in Sawang, North Aceh, and hold four farmers

ANTARA reported that about 90 personnel from the Aceh provincial narcotics board (BNNP Aceh), Polda Aceh, Brimob and Polres Lhokseumawe found a cannabis field of about 18 hectares in the hamlets of Alue Garut and Cot Mancang, in the village of Teupin Reusep, Sawang sub-district, North Aceh. The head of BNNP Aceh said the field lay at about 207 metres above sea level, with plants one to two metres tall and aged two to four months, and that four people suspected of being farmers were handed to Polres Lhokseumawe. detikSumut reported that the plants were uprooted and burned at the site.
