Satgas Yonif 753/ATV secures 169 cannabis plants at Tomka in Oksamol

ANTARA reported that personnel of the border security task force of Infantry Battalion 753/ATV secured 169 cannabis plants at Desa Tomka in Oksamol district, Pegunungan Bintang regency, on 23 June 2026. The report described the plants as ready for harvest and said personnel uprooted them on the spot and handed them to the nearest police post for destruction. The commander of Joint Regional Defence Command III, Lieutenant General Lucky Avianto, said the plot was a logistics source for an armed group and that the crop was to be sold to the public after harvest, an attribution carried by no independent source. No arrests were reported, and no cultivated area was given.
