Police and soldiers uproot 800 marijuana plants worth ₱150,000 in San Fernando, Bukidnon

In an operation conducted jointly by the 2nd Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 10, 1003rd Maneuver Company and the 89th Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army on 8 June 2026, 800 fully grown cannabis plants valued at about ₱150,000 were uprooted at Sitio Salumayag, Barangay Halapitan, San Fernando, Bukidnon. The plants had been intercropped with cassava and tobacco to conceal them. Most were burned on site and samples were retained for laboratory examination.
