Ketama 'Beldia' General Population 1990 is a landrace cannabis accession of the beldiya landrace, collected in Ketama, Morocco, in the early 1990s.[1] From these seeds The Real Seed Company (RSC) created the heirloom line it lists as Beldia, which is recorded at 1990 RSC Ketama 'Beldia' IBL. RSC describes that line as a Ketama heirloom, believed to be a pure Moroccan line that has never been outcrossed.[1]

Geography

RSC describes Ketama as the region of the Rif mountain range that produces the best Moroccan hashish. It gives a latitude of about 35° N.[1]

Collection Details

According to RSC, the line was created from seeds of the beldiya landrace (RSC: Beldia) collected in Ketama in the early 1990s.[1] Neither RSC nor the Kwik Seeds listing of the same line, on the shop RSC calls its other site,[2] names a collector or gives a sourcing line.[1][3]

Cultivation Details

RSC gives the purpose as hashish (dry-sieved resin) or bud.[1] Its account of how early the bred line matures, and of the heights, branching and leaflet width it reaches, is at 1990 RSC Ketama 'Beldia' IBL. Versions of the listing from 2020 to June 2025 described the line as semi-autoflowering and gave that trait as the reason it is ready outdoors from late August to early September.[4][5]

Botanical Characteristics

RSC describes the beldiya of Ketama as a short, compact and intensely resinous landrace.[1] Its measurements of the bred line are at 1990 RSC Ketama 'Beldia' IBL.[4][6] In 2020 the listing classified the line as C. sativa subsp. indica var. afghanica × C. sativa subsp. indica var. indica.[4]
