Evidentiary scope
The article rests on the RSC listing for Beldia and on the Kwik Seeds listing of the same line. Kwik Seeds is the shop RSC calls its other site (RSC, Hemp & Multipurpose). Neither gives a sourcing line or names a collector. Both date the founder seed to the early 1990s and describe several generations of breeding since. The purity of the line is RSC's belief, as the listing says. The conservation priority (Low) was entered when the page was created in March 2026; no rationale was recorded. Georeferencing
The listings name Ketama. The coordinate entered at creation, 34.919, −4.568, lies near Issaguen in the Cercle de Kétama, Al Hoceima Province (OpenStreetMap reverse lookup). It is now rounded to two decimal places, 34.92, −4.57, which is the precision the wiki's privacy policy calls for. It marks the Ketama area, not a collection site. Editorial treatment
Conform pass of 16 September 2026. The article was compared with the current RSC listing and with the Kwik Seeds listing. It was rewritten so that each statement is attributed to one of them, with CS1 citations.
- Province changed from
Al HoceimatoAl Hoceima Province, the form in the Morocco outbound links master. - Local name changed from "Beldia" to beldiya, the cluster's canonical wiki-voice form. The listing's spelling stays in the descriptive name and in the prose.

Source discrepancies
- Only on RSC. The customer review and the "semi-auto" remark.
- Wording. RSC: "a short and compact" line "reacheing no more than 2 metres". Kwik Seeds: "a short strain that reaches no more than 2 metres".
- Archived versions. The Wayback Machine holds 20 versions of the RSC listing, from August 2020 to April 2026. Nineteen were read, and all describe the same heirloom.
- Genetics: "Moroccan Ketama Heirloom (Inbred Landrace)" from August 2020 to January 2023, then "'Beldia' Moroccan Ketama Heirloom ( Landrace )", then "'Beldia' – Ketama Heirloom" from October 2025.
- Height: "<1.5 metres outdoors" from August 2020 to July 2024, then "Approx. 1 metre".
- Characteristics: "Resinous, short, very fast flowering, semi-autoflowering" until June 2025. The current line drops "semi-autoflowering", and the body attributes "semi-auto" to aficionados.
- Body: "exhibits minimal branching" and "Its leaflets are medium-width" until July 2024; "Due to its semi-autoflowering traits, it's ready outdoors from late August to early September" until June 2025.
- Classification: "C. sativa subsp. indica var. afghanica x C. sativa subsp. indica var. indica" from August 2020 to January 2023.

Collection and reproduction split
This page is the collection of beldiya seed made in Ketama in the early 1990s. The line RSC created from it, and lists as Beldia, is now 1990 RSC Ketama 'Beldia' IBL.
RSC's own wording separates them: the line "was created from seeds of the Beldia landrace collected in Ketama in the early 1990s" and has "since undergone several generations of intensive modern breeding work". What the listing describes — the very early maturity, the semi-autoflowering trait, heights under 1.5 metres, minimal branching, medium-width leaflets, the customer's yield and the line's use as a breeding parent — describes the bred line and moved with it, as did the fields holding those values.
What stayed: the Rif and Ketama geography, the collection itself, the local name beldiya, the purpose, the coordinates and the conservation priority, which belongs to the population rather than to a bred line.
Two things this page cannot settle. The listings name no collector, so the collector field, which held Angus, is now blank; RSC says only that the seeds were collected. And the photograph of plants in a field carries no caption of RSC's own, so whether it shows the Rif population or the bred line is not stated; it stays here, where the page makes no claim about it.
