BNN, Bareskrim Polri and Polda Aceh destroy about 25 hectares of ready-to-harvest cannabis in a second wave at Teupin Reusep, Sawang

RRI reported that on 2 November BNN, the narcotics directorate of Bareskrim Polri and Polda Aceh found about 25 hectares of ready-to-harvest cannabis, taller than one metre, at three points in the hills of Teupin Rusep village in Sawang, North Aceh, and burned it at the site. The report gives an estimate of 37,500 plants and describes the operation as a follow-up to the destruction of 18 hectares at the same village on 27 October. A Bareskrim official said three suspects had been held and that the field lay about 5 to 7 kilometres from the nearest homes.
