Discussion

This is the second operation at the same village. RRI quotes BNN: "Operasi pemusnahan gelombang pertama dilaksanakan pada 27 Oktober 2026, dimana tim gabungan menemukan dan memusnahkan ladang ganja seluas 18 hektar dan pada 2 November 2026, dilakukan pemusnahan lanjutan seluas 25 hektar". The first wave is recorded separately as the 27 October news item, and this item takes the same map point.

BNN's release (BNN, 2 November) totals about 122.86 hectares and some 186,450 plants at seven sites in six Aceh regencies between 27 October and 2 November. Each site is recorded as its own news item, so that total is not recorded on any one of them. The other items from the release are the earlier wave at Teupin Reusep (27 October), Blang Meurandeh, 31 October, Blang Pandak, 1 November, Lamteuba, 1 November, Bener Meriah, 1 November, Aceh Timur, 1 November.

Source discrepancies

The number of suspects differs by wave. BNN's release says that on 27 October the team "mengamankan empat orang tersangka". RRI quotes the Bareskrim narcotics director on 2 November: "kami mengamankan tiga orang tersangka berinisial L, T, dan W". The item states three suspects held, as RRI reports, and does not repeat the initials.

Quantities

RRI gives the plant figure as an estimate ("dengan estimasi 37.500"), and BNN's release says the same ("estimasi 37.500 batang tanaman ganja"). The area is "sekitar 25 hektare" in RRI and "sekitar ±25 hektare" in BNN.

Place

RRI and BNN spell the village Teupin Rusep, and the earlier news item spells it Teupin Reusep. The item uses the spelling of the earlier item so that both link to one place.
