Police and customs at Tanger Med port find 3,565 kg of cannabis resin in crates of agricultural produce on an international freight truck

Le360 reported that in the early hours of Sunday 11 October 2026 national security police at the port of Tanger Med, working with the customs services, found 3 tonnes 565 kilograms of cannabis resin in crates of agricultural produce on a Moroccan-registered international freight truck. The truck's driver, a 35-year-old Moroccan, was placed under a judicial investigation supervised by the competent prosecutor's office. Barlamane gave the same figures and attributed them to a statement of the Directorate General for National Security.
