Morocco's cannabis regulator begins a training programme for authorised cooperatives and farmers and reports its 2025 licence and harvest figures
Le Cannabiste reported, citing the national agency for the regulation of cannabis activities (ANRAC), that the agency has begun a training programme for all authorised cooperatives and farmers for the 2026 campaign, aiming at certification under good agricultural practice and good manufacturing practice labels. It says the programme started in Taounate province in the week of 12 October, continued in Chefchaouen and Al Hoceima in the week of 19 October and is due to end in December. The article gives ANRAC's 2025 figures as 5,765 active licences, 5,492 cultivation permits for 5,318 farmers, 3,141 hectares harvested and 19,576 quintals of dry matter, against 18,810 a year earlier.
