Barlamane writes that the seizure was announced "selon un communiqué publié le jour même par la direction générale de la sûreté nationale (DGSN)" (Barlamane, 11 October 2026). Le360 names "la Sûreté nationale" and "les services de la douane" and does not cite a statement. The statement itself was not found. Neither outlet names the customs body.
