Fès judicial police and the DGST seize 4,100 kg of cannabis resin, four marine engines and four inflatable boats at a farm near Fès

Le360 reported that in the early hours of Saturday 10 October 2026 the regional judicial police brigade of Fès, working with the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST), found a truck loaded with 4 tonnes 100 kilograms of cannabis resin at a property in a rural area near Fès. Four marine engines and four inflatable boats were seized with it. Three people were arrested, among them the main suspect, whom a police database check showed to be subject to a national search notice in a similar case. Hespress English reported that authorities suspected the engines and boats were meant for maritime smuggling.
