Roadside arrest leads police to 37 cannabis plants at Lingga in Karo

Polres Tanah Karo arrested two farmers, identified as SS and HB, on 10 June 2025 after stopping SS at a roadside with 66.78 g of wet cannabis. Karosatuklik reported that the trail led that evening to HB, found with two bundles of cannabis at a coffee shop, about 236 g more at his house and 37 growing plants of 100 to 240 cm at his plantation in Desa Lingga, Simpang Empat district. Police chief AKBP Eko Yulianto said the case began with intelligence about cannabis moving by road.
