Joint police and army operation destroys 400 cannabis plants in Sibuatan forest, Karo

A joint team from Polres Tanah Karo and the army's Kodim 0205/Tanah Karo located a cannabis field of around 400 plants in the Sibuatan forest hills near Desa Pancur Batu, Merek district, on 24 October 2025. The plot measured one rante, about 20 by 20 metres, with plants up to three metres tall. The field was found after a resident reported it to a local Babinsa non-commissioned officer. The plants were destroyed the following day.
