Kalga, also spelled Kalgha, is a landrace cannabis accession from Kalga village in the Parvati Valley, Himachal Pradesh, India, listed as Kalga | Parvati Valley in the catalogue of Coco Genes and filed there under "2020 Season".[1]
Geography
The listing gives the altitude as 2,500 m and a coordinate, "31.2926° N, 77.9963° E", and describes Kalga as "a small village located on the route of Kheerganga Pilgrimage", stating that devotees have travelled through it towards Kheerganga "for thousands of years".[1] It names no district.
