Joint forces destroy 75,000 ganja saplings at Nauramura, Sonamura

On Wednesday 4 December 2024, a joint Border Security Force, Tripura Police and Forest Department operation destroyed approximately 75,000 cannabis saplings in a dense forest area near Nauramura village in Sonamura sub-division, Sepahijala district. The team uprooted and destroyed mature plants on the spot as part of an anti-narcotics drive against illegal cannabis cultivation in the state.
