PR Bari Police destroys 18,000 ganja plants on 4.5 acres at Hataliya, South Tripura

On Sunday 17 December 2023, a PR Bari Police Station-led operation destroyed approximately 18,000 cannabis plants in the general area of Hataliya under PR Bari Police Station, South Tripura district. The operation cleared approximately 4.5 acres of cultivated land. The plants were destroyed by cutting, uprooting and burning at the site. The operation was one of three concurrent cannabis destruction drives in Tripura that day, alongside the Sidhai Police Station operation at Arakata in West Tripura district and continued operations across Sepahijala district.
