Seed Storage Indian Landrace Exchange

Wailing Valley 2021 is a seed accession of the cannabis line that the Indian Landrace Exchange lists in its genetic library as Wailing Valley. The group describes it as the domesticated cannabis of the Wailing valley, which it places 7 km east of the village of Malana.[1] The online shop Full Power Selections, which sells the group's books and many of its lines, lists it as Wailing Valley, Malana, in stock when checked on 21 October 2026.[2]

Geography

According to the entry, the climb to the valley rises from about 2,400 to over 3,000 metres. The group says that the valley is used mainly for cannabis, stays closed to visitors, and that only a handful of Malana families own land there.[1]

Botanical Characteristics

The entry says that the plants ripen a little earlier than those of the lower valleys, with bigger, chunkier buds and denser, very sticky resin, and that most finish flowering after 11 to 13 weeks, in the middle to end of October. It lists ripe mango, cherry, wine, body odour, floral, naphthalene and incense smells.[1]
