Compares the seeds of three Moroccan Cannabis sativa varieties, which the paper calls Cric, Khard and Beldiya, for phenolic and flavonoid content, antioxidant activity and, in animal models, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Total phenolic content rose from 76.87 mg GAE/g DW in Cric to 81.45 in Khard and 84.96 in Beldiya, and HPLC-DAD identified compounds including catechin, quercetin, ursolic acid and rosmarinic acid. Beldiya extracts gave the strongest antioxidant results and, at 300 mg/kg, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects the authors compare with aspirin and indomethacin. The study concerns seed chemistry and pharmacology, not resin or flowers, but it treats named Moroccan varieties separately, like the Beldia seed study already in this corpus.
