NDLEA destroys a 0.496 hectare cannabis farm at Ukaro Forest in Owan West

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency reported destroying a cannabis farm of approximately 0.496 hectares at Ukaro Forest in Owan West Local Government Area on 18 August 2026 and arresting three men at the site. The agency put the standing crop at an estimated yield of 1,240.9 kilogrammes and said the material actually recovered was half a bag of processed cannabis weighing 5.5 kilogrammes together with samples of plant stems.
