NDLEA and the Army destroy a suspected cannabis plantation at Grang in Michika and recover 428 kg of dried substance

Daily Post reported, citing a statement signed on behalf of the Adamawa State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), that the command and the Nigerian Army's 271 Task Force Battalion in Michika uncovered a cannabis farm in the mountainous terrain of Grang village, Zah, in Michika Local Government Area. The statement said the operation uprooted and destroyed the suspected plantation and recovered 30 bags of dried substance suspected to be Cannabis sativa, which weighed 428 kg. It said a suspect the operation targeted was not arrested and has gone into hiding.
