Madhupur Police destroys 30,000 ganja plants on 6 plots at Kartailya, Konaban

On Sunday 30 November 2025, a Madhupur Police Station-led operation destroyed approximately 30,000 mature cannabis plants across six plots in forest areas at Kartailya and Konaban under Bishalgarh sub-division, Sepahijala district. The operation was led by Madhupur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Inspector Debajit Chattarjee with personnel of the 11 Battalion Tripura State Rifles and Forest Officers. The operation was one of three same-day Sepahijala district destruction drives, alongside parallel ops led by Bishramganj Police Station and Sonamura Police Station, totalling over 442,000 plants destroyed district-wide.
