Bishalgarh Police destroys 3 lakh ganja plants on 70 plots in Bangshibari ADC area

On Tuesday 2 December 2025, a Bishalgarh Police Station-led joint operation destroyed approximately 300,000 pre-matured cannabis plants across 70 plots in the Raghunandan Para and Jagatrambari areas under Bangshibari ADC village, Bishalgarh sub-division, Sepahijala district. The operation ran from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, in parallel with a separate Kalamchoura Police Station-led operation in Sonamura sub-division on the same morning. Personnel from Bishalgarh Police Station, the Tripura State Rifles, the Central Reserve Police Force and the Forest Department participated, led by the Officer-in-Charge of Bishalgarh Police Station.
