2016 DCC Afghan Helmand Reproduction is a seed accession of Afghan (Helmand), a cannabis line released by the Derg Corra Collective and sold through the online seed shop SeedHeaven. Its listing says that the seed was collected in Helmand Province, Afghanistan.[1]

Geography

The listing names Helmand Province and no place within it.[1]

Collection Details

The collective's description on SeedFinder says that the seed came from a Danish soldier stationed in Helmand Province. He told the writer that soldiers often rested in the cannabis fields and took buds with them when they left. The buds were often full of seed, and he took some of it home to Denmark.[2]

Cultivation Details

The writer grew plants from the seed, and a grower later made a seed run of the line for the collective.[2] The listing calls the line mostly indica, with many purple phenotypes, and suited to indoor and outdoor growing. It gives a flowering time of 8 to 10 weeks and says that outdoors the line finishes at the beginning of October at a latitude of 54° N.[1]

Effects

The listing calls the effect stoned.[1]
