Amulya Shillong General Population is a landrace cannabis accession named on the Overgrow forum as a line from Coco Genes.[1] No source explicitly states a collection place; the name itself points to Shillong, Meghalaya, India.

Geography

Neither forum mention names a place, coordinate, district or village directly; the identification with Shillong rests entirely on the line's own name, "Amulya Shillong".[1]

Collection Details

An Overgrow post of 21 March 2021 by the user Upstate lists it, alongside "Revadi" and unnamed others, as a line "both from Cocogenes" that a third forum member was about to grow; it states no collection date, collector or place beyond the name itself.[1] A second post, by a different user in 2024, lists a "Shillong Selection 2020" among several Indian landrace cultivars given to them personally by Coco Genes; the talk page discusses the "2020" tag and whether it names the same line under a different alias.[2]

Notes

Coco Genes' own "Meghalaya Khasi Hills" listing separately names its cultivar "Amulya shillong" in its body text; see Meghalaya Khasi Hills General Population and this page's talk page for the question of whether the two represent the same population.
