Vientiane is a landrace cannabis growing area in Vientiane Province, Laos, in the Central Laos growing region. It has one accession, Central Lao General Population 2022.
Geography
The accession gives a point to two decimal places, 18.68° N, 102.07° E, which OpenStreetMap places in Feuang District, and no locality or elevation. Its seller places the line in Vientiane Province, along the Mekong.[1]
Cultivation
The accession is Central Lao, a line of The Real Seed Company, which calls it a Lao–Thai cannabis landrace and says the seed was collected from the winter 2022/2023 harvest.[1] In August 2026 Angus gave its seed to the U.S. National Plant Germplasm System, where it is accession G 34096.[2]
