Border
The border is Nakhon Si Thammarat Province (OpenStreetMap relation 1908792), cut to land at the outline of Southern Thailand, about 10,000 km². The infobox's area is the drawn outline's. Until October 2026 Lan Saka, Kiriwong and Tha Sala were growing areas of their own. Kiriwong lay inside Lan Saka. They are now appellations inside this area, and Kiriwong and Lan Saka no longer overlap.
Appellation borders
- Tha Sala, Phrom Khiri, Sichon, Thung Song: the districts of the same names (OpenStreetMap).
- Kiriwong: the catchment of the stream through Khiri Wong, above a point about 1 km downstream of the village, up to the Khao Luang ridge, within Lan Saka District. It is drawn from a terrain model (SRTM). The village and the Kiriwong seed accession fall in Khun Thale subdistrict together with Ban Kachon, so no district or subdistrict line separates Kiriwong from Lan Saka.
- Lan Saka: the rest of Lan Saka District.
Accessions without an appellation
The lot Southern 'Squirrel Tail' (ZOM-THA-SOU-0420250030) names the province and no place within it, so it carries the growing area and no appellation.
Phrom Khiri, Sichon and Thung Song
No accession, herbarium sheet or published report of cannabis growing in these three districts has been found so far (searches of Thai and English news and of GBIF, October 2026). They are appellations on first-hand knowledge of growing there. Their pages keep a blank status and an empty Cultivation section until a source exists.
