2020 RSC Kashmiri Reproduction is seed newly produced from an ex situ maintenance grow of Kashmiri General Population 2020, a cannabis landrace collected in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, in 2020. It is the seed The Real Seed Company (RSC) sells under the listing Kashmiri.[1]
Production
RSC states that the seeds on sale are newly produced from an ex situ maintenance grow of an accession originally collected from Pakistani Kashmir, and that tests show germination close to 100 per cent.[1] The Kwik Seeds listing of the same line, on the shop RSC calls its other site,[2] gives the same account.[3] Every archived version of the RSC listing, from the earliest of 30 June 2023, describes the seed the same way.[4] Neither listing says where or in which year the grow was made, or how many generations have been grown, so no sourcing type is entered.
Source accession
The collection is dated 2020 and credited to Landrace Genetics in Azad Kashmir.[1] The history of Kashmiri charas that RSC gives, and the cultivation details, are at Kashmiri General Population 2020.
