2008 RSC Highland Thai Reproduction is seed grown outside Thailand from Highland Thai General Population 2008, a cannabis landrace of the highlands of Northern Thailand and the nearby border regions of Burma. It is the seed The Real Seed Company (RSC) sells under the listing Highland Thai.[1]
Production
Both listings state that the seeds are second-generation, reproduced through open pollination outside Thailand.[1][2] Every archived version of the RSC listing, from the earliest of 19 August 2019, says the same.[3] Neither listing says where or in which year the reproduction was grown. RSC gives no sourcing year for the collection; the Kwik Seeds listing of the same line, on the shop RSC calls its other site,[4] gives 2008.[2]
Source accession
The collection was made through collectors at source in northern Thailand.[1] Its geography, the ethnic groups RSC names as growers, the history RSC gives and the botanical description are at Highland Thai General Population 2008.
