2015 RSC Kerala Second-generation Reproduction is seed grown outside Kerala from Kerala General Population 2015, a cannabis landrace collected in Idukki District, India, in 2015. The Real Seed Company (RSC) sold it under the listing Kerala from 2019 until the third generation replaced it in June 2023.[1][2]
Production
RSC described the seed as the second generation from the original accession, reproduced outside Kerala through open pollination.[1] From December 2019 the wording read "reproduced ex-situ through open pollination", and it stood until the version of 30 January 2023.[3] RSC does not say where or in which year the grow was made. The Kwik Seeds listing of the same line, on the shop RSC calls its other site,[4] still describes the seed it sells as the second generation.[5]
Source accession
The collection was made in Idukki District in 2015 and described in 2019 as personally collected at source.[1] Its geography, history, cultivation details and botanical description are at Kerala General Population 2015.
