Tirah Maidan Hash Plant 2025 is a seed accession of the cannabis line that Khalifa Genetics sells under the name Tirah Maidan Hash Plant. The company says that the line comes from the Tirah Valley, a remote mountain region of Khyber District in Pakistan near the Afghan border, and that its seed was collected at Tirah Maidan in northern Tirah.[1]
Geography
The company says that the valley lies above 2,000 m and has a long history of small-scale cannabis farming and dry-sift hashish production, and calls Tirah one of the most important traditional hashish regions of Pakistan. It says that Tirah hashish, traditionally made into garda (dry-sifted resin), is known for very oily, sticky resin, and that the plants reflect generations of rain-fed (barani) mountain farming.[1]
Collection Details
Khalifa Genetics writes: "A trusted Pakistani-English strain hunter known as Tokecity collected the original seeds directly at source in Tirah Maidan, Northern Tirah, and gifted them to us." It says that it has since carried out a reproduction run to produce fresh seed and improve sexual stability while trying to keep the original genetic diversity.[1] ACE Seeds, which stocks the line, labels its seed a second-generation pure indica (P2) reproduced by open pollination with selection.[2]
Cultivation Details
The company calls the plants hardy and easy to grow, light to moderate feeders suited to difficult conditions. It puts indoor flowering at about 9 to 11 weeks and the outdoor harvest between early and late October.[1]
Botanical Characteristics
The company says that about 30% of the plants grow taller with narrow leaflets and the rest are bushier and more indica-like. It reports unusually large calyxes, many bracts, dense trichomes and natural colouring in many plants.[1]
Aroma
The company describes classic hashish notes with tea and coffee aromas and nutty, musky, earthy and spicy undertones.[1]
Effects
The company describes a sedative, body-heavy effect, often with couch-lock, in which the mind tends to stay clear.[1]
