Beni Boufrah is a landrace cannabis growing area on the Mediterranean side of the central Rif Mountains of northern Morocco, in Al Hoceima Province. It lies north of the Targuist growing area and north-east of Ketama.

Growing
In the 1980s cannabis growing in the Rif spread out of the Senhaja country onto the lands of the Ghomara, Beni Boufrah and Jbala tribes, where until then it had covered only small areas.[1]: 136 In 2004 the national cannabis survey of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the development agency for the northern provinces measured yields on plots at Bni Boufrah and Bni Gmil.[2]: 56
