Wang 22369 is a herbarium accession of Cannabis sativa collected in 1930 by F. T. Wang on an expedition to Sichuan (then Szechuan), China. The Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing holds the sheet as PE 00578028[1].
Collection and locality
The sheet carries no field label. A printed tag tied to the stem reads Szechuan Exp. and F. T. Wang, 1930., with the number 22369 written by hand.[2] The catalogue gives the collector, number, year and Sichuan.[1]
Specimen and identification
The sheet carries two long stems with palmate leaves of narrow, serrate leaflets and flowering tops. A typed slip names the plant Cannabis sativa L., with the line for the determiner left blank.[2] The Chinese Virtual Herbarium publishes its sheet images under a non-commercial, no-derivatives licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0); they are read and cited here, not reproduced.
