Sources read
The site's pages were read as follows:
- About Us: the Wayback Machine capture of 6 October 2024 (the three members' statements and the menu of lines), checked against the live page on 8 October 2026, which still carries the three statements.
- The home page, read live on 8 October 2026: the aim, the slogan and the menu headings. A Common Crawl capture of 9 September 2026 shows the menu with a Hemp heading, which the live menu no longer has.
- Contact Us: Common Crawl capture of 9 September 2026 (the contact details).
- The six Philippine listings: Common Crawl and Wayback Machine captures (dates on each accession's Talk page).
- Kalamata Red: Common Crawl capture of 22 July 2026, which carries the phrase "our member, bio-grower/breeder" and the sourcing line quoted in the article.
The Kalamata Red, Crete and History of Kalamata Red pages, the SeedFinder entry and the Delicorganic forum post were read for the Delicorganic page on 18 September 2026 and are reused here.
Forum threads and other sources read for the Reception section (October 2026):
- ICMag: "Landrace team?" (thread 378678, November 2020 onward), pages 1 to 3, from Wayback Machine captures of 15 April 2021 and 27 October 2022; "The Landrace Team" (thread 18127605, July 2023 onward), pages 1, 16 and 17, from captures of 23 February 2026; "Corinto, The Landrace Team Seeds/ Colombian Landraces" (18126448), pages 2 and 6; "whats folk opinions on 'the landrace team' seeds?" (18136726), page 1.
- Overgrow: "Landrace team" (topic 90519), all 123 posts, September 2022 to September 2026; ATAO Genetics' thread "Mazar I Shariff (Atao's Strawberry IBL)" (topic 104826).
- Rollitup: "The landrace team?" (thread 1014513), pages 1 to 3, April 2020 to 2024.
- THCFarmer: four threads, among them "The Landrace Team - good genetics?" (143897).
- Reddit: five threads, read from screenshots only.
- An Instagram post by ATAO Genetics (atao_seeds), read from a screenshot attached to Overgrow topic 90519, post 91. The date under the post reads "3 april" without a year; the screenshot was taken on 2 June 2026, and Instagram omits the year for posts of the current year. The post itself was not read.
- Strainly (the seller's review profile), SeedFinder, East Africa Genes' catalogue (Wayback Machine), and the seller's own site: live pages, Wayback Machine captures and Common Crawl captures from December 2018 onward; the domain's registration record (RDAP).
Not read: ICMag thread 18127605, pages 2 to 15, and thread 378678, pages 4 to 8 (in no archive, and the live forum refused automated access); other ICMag threads on the seller and on Kalamata Red; the remaining comments of the Reddit threads; Facebook, and Instagram beyond the one screenshot; Trustpilot; Grasscity; GrowDiaries. What these hold is unknown, and nothing in the article rests on their silence.
No news report, Wikipedia article or peer-reviewed paper on the seller was found. The site is cited as evidence of what the seller says about itself and its stock. No reply by the seller to any of the forum posts was found in what was read, and the seller was not asked for comment.
Editorial treatment
- Members. The About Us statements are signed with initials only, and the article gives no more. The article uses no pronouns for them. M.'s statement opens with an account of a parent's illness and of cannabis oil given to two people with cancer; these medical claims are not reproduced.
- Base and legal entity. The site gives an email address and Facebook and Instagram accounts, and no postal address, company name or registration. The contact block of its Cookie Policy names Italy as the country, with placeholder text in the street and phone fields (Common Crawl capture of 27 September 2023; live page, 8 October 2026). Buyers on the forums report parcels sent from Oklahoma, from Corfu in Greece and from the United Kingdom. With no stated place of business, the infobox has no base. The email address is not reproduced.
- Founding date. Not given by the site. The footer's copyright year follows the year of capture (2024 in October 2024, 2026 in September 2026). The earliest archived copy of a Philippine listing is a Common Crawl capture of the Kalinga page, 17 June 2019. The menu in the Wayback Machine's capture of 16 September 2019 lists Kalinga as the only line from the Philippines. The domain tltseeds.com was registered on 21 June 2018 (registration record, RDAP, read 8 October 2026). The earliest capture of the site, Common Crawl of 11 December 2018, shows eight lines.
- Catalogue counts. The 207 lines and 46 South East Asia lines are counts of the October 2024 menu entries. The menu files some lines under headings that do not match their names (Orissa Gold under South East Asia, for example); the counts follow the menu as it stands.
- "Landrace". The seller's description of its lines as landraces is its own claim. The accession pages for its Philippine lines are classed Other.
Source discrepancies
- Who holds Kalamata Red
- TLT, Kalamata Red listing (capture of 22 July 2026): "thanks to our member, bio-grower/breeder named Delicorganic and his generous offer of Kalamata Red strain"; "Sourcing: Delicorganic’s Greek landrace collection".
- SeedFinder, reproducing TLT text: Delicorganic is "our oldest member".
- delicorganic, ICMag, 30 December 2025: The Landrace Team did not have Kalamata Red. See Talk:Delicorganic.
The sources do not settle this and the article reports both sides.
- Kalamata Red
- the credit's wording
- TLT's History of Kalamata Red page called Delicorganic "our oldest member" in the Common Crawl capture of 1 April 2020 and "our member" from the capture of 6 July 2020 onward.
- The listing's sourcing line read "Delicorganic’s Greek landrace collection, alagonian bud" on 1 April 2020 and "Delicorganic’s Greek landrace collection" in the capture of 22 July 2026 quoted in the article. The live listing (8 October 2026), after the site moved to a new shop in July 2026, reads "Sourcing : Delicorganic".
- A buyer quoted by delicorganic (ICMag, 30 December 2025) said that Kalamata Red seed bought from TLT smelled bad the day after soaking.
- SeedFinder also lists a Greek Kalamata Red from Hippie Cannabis Genetics (see Talk:Delicorganic).
- Pakistan 1975
- A Rollitup poster (15 March 2021) wrote that after the poster emailed TLT about the line's write-up, which tied it to a University of British Columbia research line, the description was rewritten the next day.
- Wayback Machine, 11 August 2020: the listing gives a breeder's account of seed brought from Pakistan in 1975 for a university programme studying cannabis for chemotherapy patients. Wayback Machine, 29 October 2020: a different text, without that account. Common Crawl captures of January and April 2021 match the October text. The live listing (8 October 2026) gives "Source: private donor".
The archives place the change between 11 August and 29 October 2020; they cannot date the poster's email.
- Llanera
- A Rollitup poster (13 June 2022) wrote that the line was another seller's Colombian Black, renamed.
- TLT's listing, from its first capture (Common Crawl, 11 December 2018, at /llanera-colombian-black/), says "Formerly the collectors called this plant Colombian Black"; from November 2019 it is titled "Colombian Black (Llanera)"; the live listing is at /colombian-black-llanera/. No version names another seller.
- A Rollitup poster (25 January 2024) reported that TLT, asked by email, said a member of the team had collected the line in Colombia.
The sources do not settle who named the line.
- Aunt of Farouk
- Posters on Rollitup (2022, 2024) and THCFarmer (2026) wrote that TLT first sold the line without credit and added a credit to the DergCorra Collective after it was challenged.
- The listing carries the DergCorra Collective credit in every capture, from the first (Common Crawl, 1 April 2020) to the live page. No earlier capture exists, so the record can neither confirm nor rule out a change before April 2020.
- A poster on THCFarmer (17 June 2026) wrote that "Wild Pakistan" was the name TLT used for the line before it credited the collective, and a poster on Overgrow (26 May 2026) suggested the same. TLT's listing reads "Aunt of Farouk, or AOF, or Wild Pakistan" in the same captures that carry the credit, from 1 April 2020 to the live page.
- The collective's own listing on SeedHeaven also reads "Aka: Wild Pakistan", and its SeedFinder page names the line "Aunt of Farouk (aka Wild Pakistan)" (both live, 8 October 2026). The listing already read "Aka: Wild Pakistan" in its earliest archived copy, at seedheaven.net (Wayback Machine, 24 October 2016), and in the copy of 18 September 2020. The domain tltseeds.com was registered on 21 June 2018.
The alias was on the collective's listing nearly twenty months before TLT's domain was registered. No source read says who first used it.
- Mazar-i Sharif and ATAO Genetics' Strawberry Mazari
- ATAO Genetics posts on Overgrow as Roms; its SeedFinder breeder page reads "I'm Roms, original breeder since 2009!". In its own thread (6 March 2023) it gives the line's history: selected from a Real Seed Co. Mazar-i-Sharif pack in 2009, with an F4 released to the public in 2021 through three other sellers.
- On 2 and 3 April 2026 (Overgrow topic 104826, posts 219 and 224; and the Instagram post above) ATAO said it believed TLT had taken the line, pointing to the strawberry, peach and lemon aromas in TLT's description. On 10 April 2026 it wrote of its 16-year-old Strawberry Mazari in the Overgrow thread on TLT (topic 90519, post 82). A comment by atao_seeds under the Instagram post links https://www.tltseeds.com/afghanistan.
- That address served TLT's Mazar-i Sharif listing: it was one of the site's eight lines in the first capture (Common Crawl, 11 December 2018); its aromas read "strawberris, lemons, apricots" by 24 October 2021 and still did on 21 January 2026. Since the July 2026 move the line is at /mazar-i-sharif/, and /afghanistan/ redirects to a gallery page. No version names a source.
Nothing read shows where TLT's seed of the line came from.
- Orders that did not arrive
- A Reddit commenter (r/LandraceCannabis, about 2024, read from a screenshot) knew of no buyer who had not been sent seed.
- Buyers wrote of their own orders not arriving: ICMag, August 2022 (outcome not reported); Overgrow, September 2022 (seven months or more); ICMag, December 2025 to January 2026.
Both are reported; the sources are not reconciled.
- East Africa Genes
- East Africa Genes' catalogue page, Wayback Machine capture of 4 June 2023: "The sativa strains from Kenya are also available on The Landrace Team" (https://web.archive.org/web/20230604213703/https://eastafricagenes.blog/pure-african-strains/). The line is not in the capture of 22 March 2023 or on the live page.
- The seller behind East Africa Genes, asked on Overgrow (21 September 2025) whether it had supplied TLT's Black Magic: "No, I have never sold seeds to TLT" (https://overgrow.com/t/congo-trip-with-kidete/133431/1143); in a later post it says it will keep avoiding business with TLT (post 1150).
- A grower on Overgrow (4 January 2024) compared TLT's Malawi with East Africa Genes' and reported poor germination of TLT's (https://overgrow.com/t/freakin-with-the-freakers-ball-seed-collective/42470/1268).
The 2023 catalogue line and the 2025 statement are not reconciled here.
Editorial treatment: Reception
- Most forum posters write under pseudonyms. The section reports their claims as patterns: a claim goes in only when several posters made it independently, it is attributed to the forums and years, and no single post is told in the wiki's voice. No poster is named. Counts of posters stay on this page.
- ATAO Genetics makes its claim in its own name and is named, with the claim attributed to it.
- Each paragraph gives the seller's side as far as it is documented: the source credits on its listings, its answers as relayed by buyers, and buyers' reports of good orders and replacements.
- Left out of the article: claims about who runs the seller; claims about named or nicknamed people; insults and verdicts, which the section neither quotes nor adopts; single reports that no other poster matched; second-hand reports.
- Site history goes in the article only where the Wayback Machine or the live site holds the pages. Facts known only from Common Crawl captures are recorded on this page.
Posters counted, by theme
Distinct posters in the threads read (one person on two forums counted once). "Own dealings" means the poster describes their own seed, order or contact with the seller.
- Lines sold without credit or permission, 2020 to 2026: 5 posters on their own dealings (one of them ATAO Genetics); 13 reporting it as known or believed. Some posters appear in both counts.
- Seed sought under other names or on a stated purpose: 2 on their own dealings; 5 others. The seller also asks growers openly for seed and for reproductions, which no poster disputes.
- Descriptions or names changed: 3 on their own dealings; 6 others.
- Photographs: 1 on their own photographs (2026); 4 others.
- Orders: 9 posters describe problems with their own orders (non-delivery, failed germination not replaced, mislabelled seed, packaging, a price raised after payment); 15 describe orders that went well or problems put right. Some posters appear on both sides.
- Also reported by single posters, and not in the article: two lines preserved by a seed collective on Overgrow said to have been sold or bartered to the seller (second-hand); reviews on the seller's Strainly profile said to be invented (opinion). The Strainly profile shows 47 reviews, all positive; the seller's own site carries two guest reviews.
Not in the article
- The blog's posts (for example on charas and on cannabis and the concept of drugs).
- The home page's claims about modern hybrids, nutrients and "power phenos".
- The members' accounts of their own smoking.
- The 2018 to 2020 disclaimer that the seeds were sold "for collecting purposes and for genetic preservation", and the 2018 banner "FREEBIES WITH EVERY ORDER".
- A 2026 falling-out between the seller and a former project partner, reported only by the partner.
