Evidentiary scope
The label, typed on a printed herbarium form, gives the locality Périmètre d'irrigations d'Igli (Sahara oranais) (an irrigated area at Igli, in the Sahara of Oran), the date 29 October 1960, the collector P. Simonneau and the variety name var. kif A.DC. The locality puts the plant inside a defined watered area without saying whether it was sown there, and a variety name is a name, not a note on how this plant grew. The label adds nothing on habitat, sowing or use, so the accession is classified Unknown. No conservation priority is assigned.
Inclusion
This sheet is dated after 1950, which the corpus survey used as its cut for the Algerian target of eight. It is included anyway, on the precedent of the deployed Nepalese accessions, which run to 1954, 1956, 1973 and 2003. The cut marks where a batch was expected to stop, not a rule about what counts as historical.

The varietal name is the one fact the catalogue leaves out. The label adds nothing on sowing or use, so the evidentiary reading above stands.
Georeferencing
Igli lies on the Oued Saoura. It sits in Béni Abbès Province today and older sources will place it in Béchar Province, from which Béni Abbès was separated. The province field carries the present-day value, as the geographic fields do throughout the corpus.
Sahara oranais, the parenthesis on the label, was the French administrative name for the Saharan territory governed from Oran. It is given in the article as the label's own wording and is not stored in a location field, because it names a colonial administrative unit that no longer exists.
The locality names an irrigation scheme, the Périmètre d'irrigations d'Igli, whose bounds in 1960 no source read gives. The point 30.45, −2.29 is the village of Igli, OpenStreetMap node 490536992. Its mapped housing reaches 1.1 km from the point, and the orchards and fields mapped around it today reach 5.6 km; 1 km is added for the rounding of the point. The commune (relation 6530993, about 6,220 km²) is far larger than the village and is not used. It places the gathering at Igli and its watered ground, not at a field within the scheme. No altitude is carried, so no elevation is asserted. An earlier version of this note gave no point because the locality names a scheme and not a point. Basis: settlement point. Uncertainty: about 7 km.
Editorial treatment
The collector is given as Simonneau, P. and is not in the International Plant Names Index, so no dates are available and no lifespan test could be run. An Echiochilon simonneaui stands in the index, which is consistent with a botanist active in Saharan Algeria, but a species epithet is not a biography and the article does not use it. The label credits him with Leg.: on the form of the herbarium of A. Dubuis, the form Pasquier s.n., Maison-Carrée (1942) also uses.
