Evidentiary scope
The page rests on the RSC listing for Kandahar, its archived version of 16 April 2021, the Kwik Seeds listing of the same line and RSC's February 2025 blog post on powdery mildew resistance. They establish that the seed on sale is a reproduction of a 2019 collection maintained ex situ, and that it has been described that way for as long as the listing has been archived. They do not say where or when the reproduction was grown, or by how many generations it is removed from the collection. RSC-AFG-KAN-0120190001-R1, the collection's ID with the reproduction suffix. - Photograph. The listing's photograph is captioned at 40° N in mid-July. Kandahar is at about 32° N, so the plants are growing ex situ and the photograph belongs to this page rather than to the collection.
- No coordinates. The listings do not say where the reproduction was grown. The Kandahar city point describes the collection and stays on its page, so only the collection appears on the map.
- Collector.
Angus, as on the collection's page: the sourcing line credits Landrace Genetics, which the corpus treats as RSC's own sourcing. - Seed viability.

Descriptive name
The descriptive name now leads with the year and the holder's acronym: 2019 RSC Kandahar Reproduction, where it read Kandahar Reproduction 2019. Éloïse ruled on 17 September 2026 that a reproduction's descriptive name should carry the year first and name the reproducer, and it is applied to every reproduction in this corpus.
The acronym is the holder's, the same code the accession ID carries. It does not assert who conducted the grow-out: these listings name nobody, and the rule was given for a line whose reproducer the listing does not state either.
