Dating
The stored date is the day of the eradication drive. The report of 19 September 2022 places it on "the same day" as an operation "around 3 p.m. last September 12" in Tinglayan, Kalinga. An earlier report by the same paper, published on 13 September 2022, says that the Tinglayan operation took place "around 3 p.m. Monday", that is 12 September 2022. Neither report gives a date for the herbicide spraying, which the later report says came "later".
Source discrepancies
Journal News Online described the Maguing drive twice, both times under the byline of Alfred P. Dalizon.

The earlier report does not mention herbicide. This news item follows the report of 19 September 2022, which is the only one read that reports the spraying.
Quantities
The reports give no plant count or area, only values: "around P32 million worth of cannabis" in all, and "some P16 million worth of cannabis" in Pindulonan and "some P8 million worth" in Dilimbayan. The two barangay figures add up to P24 million. No quantity is stored.
Place
Both reports spell the first barangay two ways: "Bgys. Pundulonan and Dilimbayan" and "Bgy. Pindulonan". The PhilAtlas gazetteer lists the barangay of Maguing as Pindolonan, the spelling the summary uses.
Attribution
The report of 19 September 2022 appeared in the paper's opinion section; it is written as an account of what the PNP Drug Enforcement Group's director told the paper. The Maguindanao spraying is his statement, with no date or place below the province.

The reports name two barangays and no site within them. The pin is the middle of the two barangays' points in the PhilAtlas gazetteer and marks the area of the drive, not a site.
