Quantities

United Press International writes of "the 20- by 40-foot plots containing about 160 plants". The stored count, 160, is that approximate figure for the three plots together.

Place

The report names the site as "Bullskin Ridge in the Redbird Purchase area" and places the news conference in London, Kentucky, "near the spraying site". United Press International named the forest as the Daniel Boone National Forest on 1 September 1983. The report does not name a county.

Map pin

No gazetteer consulted (the USGS Geographic Names Information System, OpenStreetMap and Wikidata) lists a Bullskin Ridge in Kentucky. The pin is the middle of the bounding box of the Forest Service's Redbird Ranger District of the Daniel Boone National Forest, and marks the Redbird area, not the ridge.
