Evidentiary scope
The page rests on the RSC listing for Cretan and the Kwik Seeds listing of the same line. They are seed-shop catalogue descriptions, not field records. They establish that seed of a Cretan landrace was collected in the mountains of Rethymno in the early 1990s and that Delicorganic supplied it to RSC. They name no collector, farmer or site, and they do not say whether the population still grows on Crete. No conservation priority is entered. Éloise 04:02, 18 September 2026 (+07)
Editorial treatment
- Accession ID.
DEL-GRC-RET-0119900001. The first segment is the holder code for Delicorganic, the earliest holder the listings name; the rest is the corpus grammar, withRETfor the regional unit of Rethymno and 1990 for RSC's "early 1990s". - No suffix. A reproduction takes a
-Rsuffix only where it would otherwise collide with its parent's ID. Here the holder codes already differ, so RSC's line keepsRSC-GRC-RET-0119900001. - Seed storage.
Delicorganic, which both listings name as the source of the seed. - Derived material. The line RSC sells is RSC-GRC-RET-0119900001. Its description, photograph and fields stay there; this page states only what the listings say about the collection. Éloise 04:02, 18 September 2026 (+07)
Georeferencing
The coordinate 35.21, 24.55 is the Rethymno regional unit point that was entered on RSC-GRC-RET-0119900001 when that page was built, and it moved here with the collection: it describes where the seed was collected, not where the line has been grown since. The listings give no site below the mountains of Rethymno, so the point is a regional unit point and not a collection site. Éloise 04:02, 18 September 2026 (+07)
