Discussion
Evidentiary scope
The collector's slip reads Cannabis sativa (cult.) (cultivated) and Lan Mát 17 Juin 1884 (Lan Mát, 17 June 1884). It gives no name, use or sex, and the catalogue leaves out the cultivation note. With Bon 2113 (1883) it shows cannabis grown at Lan Mát in two successive years. Drug-type cannabis from different regions began to be cross-bred, and its seed carried into old growing areas, in the 1970s (McPartland and Small 2020, pp. 84–85), so a hybrid origin is not considered for a sheet gathered in 1884. The accession is classified Landrace, by inference from the label. The sheet does not show what became of the crop or whether its seed survives, and no conservation priority is assigned. An earlier version of this note classified the sheet as Other because two gatherings do not establish a continuing population.

Georeferencing
No coordinate is asserted, for the reasons given at Talk:Bon 2113 (1883): Lan Mát is a mountain or group of mountains in the former province of Hà Nam that no gazetteer consulted places, and the slip gives no collection point. The province field takes Ninh Bình Province, into which Hà Nam was merged on 16 June 2025.
Editorial treatment
Title. The slip carries no collector's number and the catalogue has none, so the title takes the s.n. form with the place.
Collector. As on Bon 2113 (1883), the collector field keeps H. Bon and the prose links Henri François Bon (1844–1894), the form in the Harvard botanist index.
Source discrepancies
- The catalogue leaves out the slip's cultivation note (cult.).
