The Naturalis catalogue transcribes the sheet's data as the collector Siebold, PF von, with no number, and the place Japonia. (Japan), with no date.[1] GBIF gives the same collector and place.[2] Naturalis holds three more Japanese units in Siebold's name: Siebold s.n. (by 1866), L 0420300 and Siebold s.n. (by 1866), L 0421683, and the lectotype of Cannabis sativa var. angustifolia, Siebold s.n. (by 1866).
Specimen and identification
