2019 RSC Waziri Reproduction is seed grown in northern Spain from Waziri General Population 2019, landrace seed bought at the charas bazaar of Toi Khullah, in South Waziristan, Pakistan. It is the seed The Real Seed Company (RSC) sells under the listing Waziri.[1] The line is on sale at RSC and on its Kwik Seeds site (checked 27 October 2026).[1][2]
Production
From June 2023 the listing said that "The current seeds are from a reproduction outdoors in northern Spain", and since September 2024 it has said "from a maintenance grow outdoors in northern Spain".[3][4] The Kwik Seeds listing, on the shop RSC calls its other site,[5] speaks of "reproductions outdoors in northern Spain".[2]
In August 2023 Angus gave a packet of Waziri seed to the U.S. National Plant Germplasm System, which holds it as accession G 33770 at its Plant Genetic Resources Unit in Geneva, New York.[6][7] The donor describes it as a charas landrace.[6]
