Seed Storage Landrace Bureau

Crimean Hash Plant 2021 is a seed accession of the cannabis line that Landrace Bureau sells as Ukrainian Crimea Hash Plant. The company calls it a pure landrace strain and a semi-autoflowering sativa, and says that the seed was hand-picked from wild plants on the lower slopes of Mount Roman-Kosh in Crimea.[1]

Crimea is a peninsula on the Black Sea. Russia administers it as the Republic of Crimea and the federal city of Sevastopol, and holds that both acceded to the Russian Federation under an agreement signed on 18 March 2014.[2] The United Nations General Assembly, in a resolution of 27 March 2014, affirmed Ukraine's territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders and called on states not to recognise any alteration of the status of Crimea and Sevastopol.[3]

Landrace Bureau offers the line for sale (checked 21 October 2026).[1]

Collection Details

The company says that the seed was gathered by hand from wild plants on the lower slopes of Mount Roman-Kosh, at 44° N, in black chernozem soil. Its listing names the source as "wild populations in Crimea" and credits the sourcing to the Russian Landrace Bureau.[1]

Cultivation Details

The company says that the plants flower early, from early July to mid or late August or early September where they grow wild, and that it harvests around 1 September. It calls them resistant to cold, powdery mildew and strong wind, and gives a height of 1.5 to 4 m.[1]

Botanical Characteristics

The company describes phenotypes that range from small, bushy plants to tall, lanky ones, among them purple and black ones, and says that some have red stems or red petioles. It describes the leaves as narrow, thin and heavily serrated, the stems as covered in trichomes, and the root systems as extensive.[1]

Aroma

The company describes the aroma as pungent and complex, with fresh flowers, pineapple, wood, light pepper, nuts and sweet spice, and compares it to Moroccan or Lebanese cannabis. It recommends a cure of three to four months or more.[1]
